Round 29 of the Allsvenskan hockey league brings the second international break for the team Mora IK. After 29 games the team is in the eight place, just one point behind the playoff spot.

“Hagelin has Mora marked”

Between the fist and the second international break this season Mora got another NHL star. Bobby Ryan, who plays for Anaheim Ducks is another superstar to join the team. “We improved our game. Our PP is much better and dangerous. Bobby brought us some real quality, something that we expected of him,” said Anže about his new teammate. Ryan scored five goals in his first five games with Mora IK Four of them were scored on PP.

Yesterday Mora played in Oskarshamn where MORA IK did not win since 2009. “That was one of those games, when nothing goes by plan. You always have to face that kind of games and they always come at the wrong time. After international break we will show our character and we will see how we react and play in the second half of December,” said Anže, who couldn’t go pass great performance of Joakim Hagelin, who managed to score twice and addedtwo assists. “Sometimes you mark some games or teams in your calendar and it looks like Hagelin has marked Mora this year. We have to face Oskarshamn once again this season and in front of home crowd we have to stop him.” Hagelin assisted also in the first game in Oskarshamn, when home team won 4:1. Overall he has 13 points on 29 games.

There are 52 games to play in regular season in Hockey Allsvenskan, so Mora has a plenty of time to reach the playoffs. “I think we have a good team that is capable of reaching the playoffs. Not making it, would be a huge disappointment for all of us, especially ma and Bobby. We know we have to work hard and play strong and smart” added Anže for the end. Mora IK will play their first game after international break back home against Malmö.
